Built by a DJ, for DJs and KJs
RequestSongs.co was founded by DJ Michael, a working DJ and karaoke host with over 25 years behind the decks. After wrestling with clunky request systems, overpriced platforms, and awkward PayPal tip buttons at countless gigs, Michael set out to build the tool the live-entertainment industry actually needed — one that puts control back in the performer’s hands without nickel-and-diming them to get there.
Today, RequestSongs.co is maintained by a tight-knit team of three developers who ship fast, listen to feedback, and treat every feature request like it came from a fellow performer — because in many cases, it did.
RequestSongs.co is a professional song-request and singer-queue management platform designed specifically for DJs, KJs, and karaoke hosts. We help you put your songbook online, accept real-time requests through a simple QR code, collect tips seamlessly, and display a live queue on any screen — all without forcing your audience to download an app or create an account.
Guests pay the way they prefer: debit, credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more — processed through Stripe so you get instant confirmation and transparent payouts. If you want to let fans pay extra to bump a request to the top of the queue, that option is yours to enable — not ours to force.
You decide which requests to accept, whether bumping is enabled, and what ads or sponsor banners appear. Your gig, your rules.
Transaction-based pricing with no upfront fees. You never pay for a month you don’t work. Detailed accounting lives in your own Stripe dashboard.
No logins, no app downloads, no redirects for your audience. Guests scan, request, tip, and go back to enjoying the show.
RequestSongs.co is compatible with any DJ or karaoke software you already use — no proprietary lock-in, no restrictions. Our free Roku app lets you throw your live queue onto a big screen right out of the box, giving your audience a real-time view of what’s coming up next.
We’re a lean team of three developers and we move fast. Drop us a line — we’re always listening.
